Child's Drawing

This picture is given as a gift to me by my granddaughter, Amarii. She is six years old.  She lives in Jamaica. This is a picture that she painted of her house. I chose this picture because it is so innocently done. She likes space and hopes that one day she will be able to live in a very big house. Therefore, this drawing represents her dream. I believe that this is a part of childhood that should never be taken away from a child- the ability to dream and capture their reality in their drawings, writings, creative play and reading.
